Are you searching for a career that’s as rewarding as a great workout? One where you can make your own hours? One where you can help people change their lives for the better? One where you can leave the stuffy shirts and ties and dress skirts behind?

Well, the answer may be no further than your favorite gym. Because a career as a Personal Trainer is all those things and more. And there’s never been a better time to become one.

The personal fitness industry is booming! According to research from IBIS World there are more than 23,000 personal trainers in the UK, contributing to over £631 million in revenue. And that number is expected to rise as more and more health conscious people across the UK turn to Personal Trainers to lose weight, get fit, achieve life goals and more.

In fact, the industry is expected to keep growing at a steady pace of 2.8% every year. In addition to opportunities with some of the larger gym chains, there’s also a trend for people to join smaller, budget gyms, presenting you with many opportunities to jump in and start your own personal training business.
