Debra Stuart, CEO of Premier Global, commented: "Ascend Learning is a really well established firm in the US, and is known for offering real quality in learning for vocational education. Knowing this, and indeed sharing its educational ethos, we think the acquisition of Premier Global will prove a progressive step for both companies. From the Premier Global perspective, this acquisition comes at an exciting time and gives us even greater support and momentum to deliver on our growth targets within the UK and beyond in the next three to five years."

Norman Basson, Premier Global's founder, commented: "Premier Global has been on an incredible journey over the last twenty years plus, and it’s amazing to look back at the success of the brand to date. However, I think the acquisition by Ascend is a really positive development, and firmly believe that it is the perfect company to oversee the next phase of growth and development for Premier Global."

Doug Krebs, President, Health and Wellness, Ascend LLC commented: "It’s clear that Premier Global is one of the leading lights of the UK health and fitness education industry. We can see that what Premier Global is trying to achieve complements many of our own goals, and indeed many of our existing companies. As such, the acquisition is a really exciting development, and will be a superb way for us to build our international presence."
